Split release from local techno producers Nothing Phase (Paul Ryan) and Landscape (Robin Guiler).

Nothing Phase and Landscape occupy vastly different niches in the minimal techno sphere. Nothing Phase's work emphasizes tightly focused songcraft married to austere synth tones and 909 toms while Landscape's practice focuses on longform polyrhythmic percussion workouts. Yet both are firmly rooted in the ceaseless pulse and swing of Detroit's second wave. These three tracks do much to distill the essence of the two producers' shared core vision: endless straight lines aimed squarely at the heart of a limitless horizon.
