Recorded at home from 2018-2019, mostly during the "polar vortex" blizzards of January 2019.

I wanted to make a "winter record" that encapsulated the positive if brooding aspects of the season. Moreover, I made it to stave off the inevitable seasonal depression that consumes me every February. It did not work.

All audio was recorded and mixed in a version of Apple GarageBand that has not been updated since 2010, save for some arcane freeware plug ins.

Taped via Fisher Studio-Pro II tape deck.

As always, the songs started as improvisations that I edited and cut up. Most of these songs began with a primary layer of improvisation, usually with the Korg. From there parts were overdubbed, cut up, or deleted.

No fancy plug-ins aside from EQ, compression, and stereo simulation as all the original tracks were recorded in mono.
